“COSMOGARDEN” by AKI KURODA

Japanese artist Aki Kuroda is well known for his silhouettes and figures painted with line strokes, which have been considered like a symbol of “passage” to the labyrinth. Since 1992, he has continued to produce a fluxional interactive art installation called “COSMOGARDEN,” which combines drawings, paintings, photographs, sculptures, performances and architecture. He brings together art and science, where the evocation of traditional Japanese culture is confronted with a contemporary conception of the world.

Aki Kuroda incorporated different periods and evocations of his pictorial universe on a blank horse canvas. For Aki Kuroda, it is important to leave a part of the imagination to the spectator.
